St Benedicks Rd Infants and junior school

Richard the Red

proper brummie kid
In reply to Audrey 4a I attended the school from 1956 -61. When I left to live in Coventry. Teachers I remember in Junior school were Mr Beaumont - Headmaster, Mr Price, Mr Irving and Mrs Euinson (???). People in my Class - 4C - were Freddy Todd, Alan Smith, Micheal Teague, Brian ? Brenda ?, Katherine ?, Heather ? I think the Miller twins. I lived at 172 St. Benedick's Rd. Grandparents at 149. I wonder if there are school photos from that time? Have visited Small Heath prior to Covid, for the first time since I left. Much has changed in 60 years. Parks seem smaller, many trees gone due to disease. Much mental adjustment.
