Hi all.

Had some wonderful help on the Clark side so am now looking at the Smith side.

James' father was listed as Reuben Smith who was a farmer. This is a bit of a tricky one really and I suspect I will have to nail down his most likely date of death to try and get the death cert and the info it holds. None of the witnesses on the marriage certificate for James Smith and Ethel Clark are from his side of the family. The only other info I have is that James was listed as a Builder on my grandparent's marriage certificate and residence at time of marriage of my grandparents was 470 Brays Road, Sheldon, Birmingham which I may rightly, or wrongly, assume was James & Ethels address.

So far I have attributed the following births to James Smith & Ethel Clark:
Ronald Peter Smith
Alfred James Smith

Now I have typed that out, it really is woefully little information.

1947 at 470 Brays Road
James Smith,Ethel M Smith and John Nolan
1950-1955 at 470 Brays Road
James Smith,Ethel M Smith
1960 at 470 Brays Road
James Smith,Ethel M Smith, Ronald P Smith and Brenda K Dellaway.
