My great-grandfather and his family (his parents, three brothers and five sisters, along with at least one employee) lived at 62 Kingston Road (and another nearby address) in the 1800s and 1890s. I am curious about the kind of housing they had in that period. Does anyone know anything about the residences at this location, from the turn of the 20th century until redevelopment? (Map is about 1885, photo 1975)
This is what the location looks like today; the closest address on Kingston Road is #32. Nothing that appears in the 1975 photo appears to have survived.
