Could someone please lookup the following St Martin's marriages:

Emma Slinn - William Carey 29/7/1839
Eliza Slynn - William Green 2/4/1844
Eliza Slinn - Frederick Warner 10/12/1855
Charles Slinn - Sarah Ann Margetts 16/7/1871
George Slynn - Elizabeth Green 16/8/1841
Enoch Slinn Fanny Mooney 7/1/1866.

Gillian so far I have
Emma Slinn and William Carey she spinster he batchelor both full age his occupation glass cutter both living at Livery Street. Fathers William Carey glass cutter. William Slinn wheel wright. William signed Emma made her mark x witnesses Robert Powell and Robert Wall.
I will look for others as time permits. Wendy.

I can't find William Green and Eliza Slinn.

Eliza Slinn and Fredrick Walker married 10/12/1855 both full age, Spinster, Batchelor, abode Essex St. His occupation Steel Toy Maker father John also Steel toy maker. Her father Joseph Cordwainer. Witnesses Henry and Sarah Brown.

Charles Slinn and Sarah Ann Margetts married 16/7/1871 Widower and Spinster,abode Livery St. His occupation millitary armament maker, father Joseph Slinn, Brass Caster. Her father Thomas Margetts draughtsman. Witnesses Thomas George Margetts and Edwina? Margetts.

Hello Gigi, my cousin is a Slinn his fathers name was Howard , he also had a brother who i think was one of the managers at Newey Bros summer Lane. Howard lived in summer lane for some yours by the Crocodile works..Cat:)

Gigi I found this today when going through my photo's of Key Hill cemetery. I am not sure if there is any connection but I thought it worth posting so you could have a look.

Many thanks for posting the picture, George is actually my Gt Grandad and his son Ernest Slinn who was born in 1895 was my Grandad. Up until now I didn't know where he was buried.

I am so pleased. It's a project of mine. I keep posting pictures of graves at Key Hill and hope one day may be claimed. The cemetery is the oldest in Birmingham and many famous people are buried there........including my family:rolleyes::)
