I have traced some ancesters to a Place called Slots Hole, Forehill, Alvechurch.
If anyone knows where it is or was, please can you let me know,

Forehill is where the Peacock on Icknield st is. The post code of this is B38 0EH, If you look at the 1861 census, then the Peacock is schedule no 19 in district 15 of alvechurch. Nos 13-18 look like Sotts Hole , Forehill. i can't seem to find a Davis in the area, but that may be me.

Thanks Mike. I've found some Wards there in 1861 and before. It was locating the position of the place I had trouble with. In another record it's called sots hole. The sqirley copper plate doesn't help.
Thanks again. G
