Sir Josiah Mason statue in Erdington decked out for Queen's Diamond Jubilee

Brilliant, just love it, By chance i drove past just as they were about to take this photo. I work out of Good hope hospital with West midlands ambulance service and pass this island daily. The hats and England shirts and even Easter bonnets always raise a smile with us and our patients too ! long may it continue.

Great photo's thanks for the link Jennyann. Eric I too think it's great Josiah has never been noticed so much. Hope everyone enjoys the Diamond Jubilee whatever they are doing! Congratulations to Her Majesty!

Love the spirit of this. I really like the idea that people dress it for different occasions, no trying to make a statement, no abuse or vandalism, just plain old good fun which puts a smile on everyones face. Well done Crochet Conspiritors! Viv.
