Does any one know who the maker is. The obverse is Doncaster Borough blazon of 1927. The signifcance of the lettes is unknown.
On the reverse is Birmingham Assay Office mark, with date letter of 1931.

Doncaster and District School Sports Association.

looks like it says WGandS as makers mark...there are a few on this list

If it is WG then William Greenwood and Sons look likely. The 1927 to 1953 list includes "fob medal"
