School Biscuits a break time

Can anyone help me out I have a vague memory... 1959-64 biscuits sold in my school (St Lawrence Northfield) for 1d ... jammy dodgers and a round chocolate biscuit with a centre hole... In a square yellow tin with and elephant on?? What where the chocolate biscuits called???

Still buy jammy dodgers but a bit more expensive than 1d.

Yes - Jammy Dodgers were 1d I think, Wagon Wheels a luxury item at 3d. Milk free

lynn i was a sub prefect in my last year at seniors..(i was not that good to be a full one lol ) and was tasked with the selling of tuck at break time..we also sold the chocolate tea cakes but if they were damaged we could not sell them..ashamed to say that sometimes my finger pressed too hard and squashed them well it seemed a shame to waste them didnt it
