Henry James Sayer JP (Lord Mayor) Beechcroft, Belle Walk, Moseley.
Is this the person you mean?

A second entry under commercial lists
Sayer Hy Jas Iron & tin plate mer, 26 & 28 Summer Row.

I don't know if they are the same person

Thank you, probably! I collect Shorthand postcards and my latest is addressed to a Miss Ethel Sayer, C/- Henry J Sayer. I’m wanting to find out more.

I think they are the same person. 1911 entry for him lists him at Belle Walk and describes him as a metal merchant.
1901census lists Ethel as his niece
