Saunders - From Dolphin Lane

Hello,

I am trying to find out anything about my grandfather Christopher James Saunders whose family all came from Birmingham. My father has just told me that the family lived at 161 Dolphin Lane and Christopher married a Scottish lady called Jean Bell (she went the name Susan). They got married in Birmingham however Jean lived in Troon, Scotland with her father until he died in 1950 . She then decided to move down to Birmingham with her hubby Chris.

I would like to make contact with anyone who may have know him, recognise the family name and address or even be able to give me any clues about where the family originally came from so they could be traced back.

Hi the purchase of the marriage certificate should give you his father's name and profession and the address from where he married. Do you have an approximate age for your grandfather?

Thanks for the reply, he was born in 1916 however died in 1984...

My father has his wedding certificate and I have asked him to scan it in and email it over to me tomorrow...
