I must have walked/been driven past these houses hundreds of times between 1960-64 on my way to or from school in Poplar Avenue just off Sandon Road, it was Cardinal Newman Secondary Modern. Alas the school has gone now all that remains is this Cardinal Close . I had a great time there I loved the school dinners in 4 years I had 6 of the best about 4 times , I made sure to keep that quiet at home , in the words of that Kinks song I thank you for the days . Great Days indeed
