I have found my Gt Uncle Samuel Rogers on the 1918 absent voter's list and also his medal card.
The list says reg No. 4042 although medal card says 40429.
On the list it says Spr, 2/64 Fld Co., RE
I cannot find any mention of 2/64 when searching the net. His medal card says Theatre of War: Egypt and Qualifying date 29.6.1915 and he was awarded Victory, British & 15 Star medals.
Can anyone elighten me - is 2/64 incorrect?
