not exactly a church but i took this pic the other day when i did a tour of the old end...used to attend every sunday afternoon...dont be deceived by the white plaster..this was not on when i was a kid...the building is older than it looks...if you look closely on the second pic you can see the original brickwork..soon to make way for houses....:(

looks like the story was wrong about the sally army being pulled down:) just been sent this pic taken yesterday which shows that all the rendering has been taken off and we can now see the brickwork..i am so pleased if it is to be saved as i used to attend every sunday as a child...:)

hi all..just went past the sally on the no 8 bus and they are now replastering it:rolleyes: oh well at least it looks like it wont be coming down just yet..
