What would a rubber trimmer have done, and where would he have worked in 1910/1914.

possibly Dunlops on Aston Cross my father worked there at a later date a trimmer would take of the excess rubber on the tyres after the moulding process
Dunlops sold out to Hercules Cycles

Thank you John,

This job was listed on my husband's uncle's marriage certificate (St's Peter & Paul, Aston) in 1913. He then joined the army and was killed in 1918.

His son was married in 1936 and listed his father as deceased, and a rubber trimmer.
