Have a marriage between Emma Rea, born 1815 Worcester, to a John Rawson Edwards.
Married on and at: -

i have now noticed that someone on ancestry has the same people on their tree. they have robert rea b. 1780 in st. peter worc. and martha lench b. 1788/89 in st. peters worcs.

children charles 1805, eliza 1806, robert 1807, harriet 1811, edward 1813, emma 1815, mary 1817-1818, lucy 1821.

they also go back a couple of generations if you need the info.

by the way charles rea (1805) wife was frances so this must be the witness on emmas marriage

Thank for all this info, well I never hoped to find out so much, thanks a lot.

Have all the family and Census of them in Peterborough, where William snr ran an Auctionhouse, and John Rawson took it over later, before becoming a Borough Clerk, and moving up in the world.

William Edwards snr is out of Fulbeck/Heckington Lincs, but think there must be a family link back to Peterborough? His father was another William who ran a public house at Heckington, and that was quite a good trade in the days of 1780.

Good to know Robert Rea was also a cabinat maker (must run in the family as I am good with wood):grin2:
