Hi Guys
Does anybody remember the Shakespeare family from River Street? We lived opposite Polly Cotton's sweet shop at number 11.
Has anybody got any memories of schooldays at St Patrick's? I have fond memories of Mr Pierce, the headmaster, and my teacher Miss Sherwood. I also remember (and liked) Miss Gittins, who played the accordion, and Mrs Pugh. I left there in 1968 and then went to Mount Pleasant, which was a newly built school - it was very high tech and massive!
I loved it at St Patrick's ..... those were the days!
