My Great Grandfather William Halsey aged 52 committed suicide on Sunday 4th October 1931.
He Lived with his second wife Lucy (12 months Married) at 7 / 10 Ridley Street.

Williams First Wife ( Love of his Life ) Sarah ann ( nee Skinner) Died about 10 yrs previously unexpectedly in her late 40s
leaving my grt grandfather to bring up the many children. They had lived for about 20 years in the same area mainly Ridley Street.

I would be very interested in any1 who knew the family or had heard of them.

People that I know gave statements and who found William were as follows,

Next door neighbour of William was Ruth Croft wife of John Croft 6 bk 9 Ridley Street.
William Charles Shingles 2 bk 18 king Edwards rd Ladywood.
Harry Taylor (police constable) 'A' 54 Birmingham City Police.

Any information stories or pictures etc would be greatly received.
