Hi everyone

I need assistance in finding out about the Ridgeways Cafe in Temple Street, Birmingham in 1943 and 1944 or any information that someone might have or can remember.........

Best wishes to all

The café was no, 16A and was one of the two buildings in red on the pre-first world war map below. It was there from sometime between 1921 and 1932 and between 1944 and 1949 changed to the Rendezvous Restaurant. This again disappeared by 1956

Many thanks for that!!

I do know a Kathleen Harris worked there in 1944 and maybe 1943, but does anyone know who owned the cafe ? or if a Leslie Hyde worked there?

Best wishes to all...

Geoff
