Richard Fowler. Born out of County 1776

Hi, I don`t know if this is the right place to put this message but i thought
it would do no harm to try.
On the 1841 Birmingham Census my Greatgreat Grandfather Richard Fowler Born abt 1776 was said to be born out of County,so was not born in
Birmingham.
Does anyone know how i can find out where my Richard was born, as i can`t
go no further with my tree.
I found a Richard Fowler born abt 1777 in Ditton Priors,Shropshire, but i don`t know if he is my Richard.
I have had messages from people whose ancester was Richard Fowler
in Ditton Priors, but they can`t find him there.
If any one can help i would be very grateful.
Carol

Richard Fowler was a fairly common name at that time, but there were 3 christenings of Richard Fowlers about 1776:
21.8.1776 at Bishops Stortford, Herts, parents Joseph & mary Fowler
6.8.1775 at Edlesborough, Bucks parents Thomas & Margaret Fowler, but it may be the baby died.
2.5.1779 Edlesborough Bucks mother Margaret Fowler.
Ancestry's christening records seem to be patchy in coverage, so I am not suggesting the list is exhaustive.
The other area you could try is the later census, but Richard would be 75.

Sorry i forgot to say Richard died in 1845, i have his death certificate.
So it will be difficult to find out where he was born.

One of these may be yours...

2. RICH. FOWLER -

Was Richard the chap on the 1841 Census Married to Ann aged 55 and a shoe maker?
If so we may be able to find a Church Marriage record somewhere.

pom/Chris

It also says Anne was born in Ireland.
If it is possible to find a marriage for Richard and Ann i would appreciate
it.I have tried but i have found nothing.
There is no marriage on IGI for them.
