Hi All

The Redditch Local History Society is staging a "Redditch at War" exhibition at the Forge Mill Needle Museum in 2011. The event will be organised as follows:

An 8 week exhibition in the Gallery made up of 4 -two weekly themes. Themes to include: The Home Front - the effect of war on Redditch Households. Our Fighters - The Soldiers & Home Guard. Redditch Industry - Support for the war effort by local firms. Impact at Home - Changes to the town as a result of the war.

Two event days in the grounds. A Kick of event with military equipment, reenactment group display, war-time games, stalls and side shows. The second event will be our Victory Parade. A street part for the kids, bands, parades, music and dancing.

8 Weekday presentations. Talks, Concerts, Plays , Demonstrations and Displays.

We are seeking contributions, artefacts, performers etc etc.
