My wife worked at Raymonds Florists on the Stratford Road, Sparkbrook from when she left school at 15 to when we were married in 1963. She trained in all aspects of floristry and has made many a bouquet since for peoples weddings.
 
My mates wife Sue ran the shop in the 70's, I used to do occasional deliveries for them and even rewired the shop.
Can't remember the owners name but think she was known as "Mrs T"
