I'm interested in finding out if anyone has any matches in their tree or can provide any more info on the following. My maternal grandfather was Leslie Randall, b. Llanelli (spelt Llanelly on censuses) 1916 - 1994. I've found the following so far:
Parents: George Randall b1878 Mary Hannah Price b1877. George Randall's siblings: John, William, Edward, Frederick, Henry, Albert, Joseph, Mary. All born Llanelly between 1861 and 1894. They all lived (a few times!) at 12 Campbell St, Llanelli.
George Randall's parents: Thomas Randall 1847 - 1901 and Elizabeth (maiden name unknown) b.1848 Stratford, Essex. Thomas's siblings: Kesiah (1841 - 1909), Eliza 1842, James 1848, Jane 1853. All siblings born in Pulham St Mary, Norfolk, except Jane, born in West Ham, Essex.
Thomas's parents: William 1812 - 1894 and Sarah (maiden name unknown) b. 1812. Both from Gissing, Norfolk.
So if anyone can provide any further info that would be great.
I'm also very keen to find out the names of the Llanelly rugby team in 1907 who were made up of 7 Randall brothers (see pic), playing against another team of 7 brothers. I'd like to find out if my great grandfather George was in this team (I think he's top left) or if the team was his cousins - sons of James Randall.
