This was for sale on eBay. The road sign on the wall reads ‘Ryland Road’ and next to the the shop name it says ‘Branch 4’. Would it be a Co-op Branch ? The listing claims it’s Edgbaston. Would that be correct ? Viv.

Looking at the map of Ryland road fro 1950 and 1937, it would appear that the only place with a shop on a corner with Ryland road going down to the right is no 125, on the corner with Bell Barn Road (in red on the map). Back in 1932 it was a George Mason grocers, but in 1921 it was Robert Norman Wallis & George Lewis, grocers.
