My Grampa William Woodward (b. 1868 Spondon, Derbyshire) managed & lived in a Public House at 58 Midland St, Aston in 1901 (with 1st wife, Sarah J)
I'd love to find out the name of the pub & any relevant information. He owned a pub & adjoining rifle range, (possibly another establishment ) & then finally for a short time he owned a restaurant before coming to Canada 1910. He also married a widow with 2 children (my Gramma, Alice H.) who was a barmaid at his pub in Aston. So in those ten years he was quite busy. We also hope to get info about Sarah J (Woodward) b 1872, Derby. Any information is greatly appreciated by his very large Canadian clan as I finally just found our family's roots across the ocean.
Thanks, Darlene
