Hi All,

I am trying to find a marriage record for a John Pershouse born abt 1810 in shedley.

I have the 1861 census and it says he is married to Rebecca who was born abt 1814 in Wolverhampton but I dont know her maiden name.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

john purshouse married rebecca fletcher 5 jan 1860 in bilston staffs.

i know this is quite an old posting, but my maiden name is pursehouse i live in sheffield and i have my pursehouses going back to 1780s some of them came from staffordshire area could it be possible we are looking for the same family
please contact if you are intersted on the 1841 census my pursehouses have john as the head and a daughter rebecca so maybe they were related
