The Comet was in Collingbourne Avenue, became a Balti restaurant and has now been demolished.

The Stagecoach was where the waste land is now almost under the M6, just before the Fort Jester.

I can confirm the last statement having grown up on the firs estate and attended Hoge Hill Comp. Never went in the Stagecoach itself, but often frequented the off licence, shown beautifully in the photo. The Comet in Collingbourne Avenue became my first local as a 15 / 16 year old underage drinker on my way home from school, the fact I was best mates with the barmaids brother did help in getting served. The shops opposite were the source of the 2 1/2p solo fags out the box, always park drive or gold leaf. Shops, like the Comet, now all sadly gone !
