Does anyone know if there is a way or list of old pub landlords in my family history i have a couple of them but no idea which pubs they
ran. They have the surname of brookes.

If you give me the christian names and approximate period they ran pubs, then I will look in the directories to see if i can find them .
 
Thank you i have Alan b Brookes i would put dates as from 1958 to 1970s. in Birmingham .
Also David & Iris Binden from 19 60s to 1980s sorry i cant give more set dates.

Sods Law has it that it was about 1960 that the directories stopped including the names of the licensees in tthe directories. I apologise for raising your hopes
