Are there circumstances where date of death is not recorded?

I have George Arthur Pryce Born 1867 in Aston married to Clara E Pryce (nee Price) in 1896 also signing as a witness at a family wedding in 1903 but the he disappears and I can find no death for him anywhere in the UK.

Shera found a medal card for this name from WW1 but neither of us knew precisely what the medals meant. She has posted a picture this medal card under the Darr Price family thread. He does not appear on 1911 census with Clara nor on the electorial roll for 1920.

IF he was killed in the war would there be a death certificate? Is there any way I could find out.

Just to let you know that the medal card that was found for a George A Pryce reg no M2/101317 cross checks on service records to a George ASHLEY Pryce so afraid this doesn't seem to be your George's medal card:(

Re: George A Pryce Date of death missing

Thank you Icarus also told me that. Since then we found that his daughter B 1900 was at the Freemason's School by 1911 on a benevolence sponsorship for widows etc. So he was clearly dead by then. No more children born after 1900 but Geroge found at No 8 Springfield Rd with his wife Clara E in Kelly's phone directory but Clara listed as widow at same addres in 1911. So he must of died between 1908 and 1911 but I guess we shall never know how or when unless anyone else can think of any other way?
