Hi ladylinda, how did you do that, and so quick? Brilliant! Thank you so much. I've only just started looking for that part of the family so, good result! You're a star! How can I get access to the electoral register, is it online? Anyway, that's given me something to look at.

Ladylinda, after reading this I have joined Midlandhistorical, but for a start I tried to find my grandad Arthur Taylor who died in 1847 living in Park Road, Hockly just to see if I was doing it right. I know for a fact that in 1910 he was living in Avenue Road Handsworth as thats where my father was born. I cannot find anything for him - so what am I doing wrong? Also, how do you find various people living at the same address which you have done. Thanks

hi Carolina
I just checked Arthur Taylor and the earliest was 1912, but there is quite a few of them. You log in first, then click electoral roll. Sometimes you can put just the name in and see what comes up. Or sometimes just the road, and see what happens.
For some reason if you put both in you will not allways get something come up, or it may time out.

Regards stars
