7/48 must mean no 8 back 48 (as there is court numbered as high as 48). I attach a map, c 1905, where no 48 and the back buildings are in red. To be honest, i don't see 7 separate buildings, but maybe the front building leading onto the street was subdivided and counted in . Certainly the electoral roll does list a 8 back 48 in 1920 (with no other back houses listed) .
