Icararus found my Birmingham born relative dying in Bournemouth. He was Llewellyn M Price 3q 1954 age 69 Bournemouth ref 6b 125.

I wanted to find out if he appeared on the electoral roll in Bournemouth after 1945 as Llewellyn M Price living in Stoney Lane, Harborne ward with a Ruth Thompson is the last Birmingham siting. (I would like to know if it gives a relation to head of house for Ruth or a job title)

I am trying to trace a family run hotel that I think he may have been staying in at the time of his death, I would love to know the address of where he was.

I know this is now away from Birmingham but Mike suggested it was still worth a try unless someone could tell me how one checks the electoral rolls.:)

Re: Electorial Roll look up for Price

I am confused are we talking aobut Tennyson Rd or Stoney Lane Harborough? Are you saying that Ruth Thompson had moved from 1945 address?

I assume no sign of llewellyn in 1950 look up? Does it give him a profession in 1945?

By 1950, Ruth H Thompson had moved from Stoney Lane Harborne to Tennyson Road Small Heath. The electoral rolls do not show occupation, age or relationships. Nor do they include persons under the age of 21.

No sign of Llewellyn in 1950 so he presumably moved down to Bournemouth between 1945-1950.
