Does anyone know where they sell the old fashioned pineapple creams with the green bits on top?

i had one recently when I was in Stafford but cannot remember the name of the shop.
 
I've been looking around Brum and Walsall but no luck; looks as if I;ll have to go to Stafford or Boldmere then! Thanks folks for your help
 
Here's Fleetwood's address I think the green bits were called Angelica.

Gosh, I've just remembered how nice and creamy they were, I don't think I've had any since I lived in Kings Norton (22+ yrs ago) and Hirons bakery on the green did them then.
 
We have a bakers called Warrens here in Torquay that sells pineapple creams, i think they may be part of a large chain. Not quite the same as the flatter type of old with bits of pineapple in, just a creamy pineapple filler.
 
Used to buy these years and years ago in a little cake shop in Mary street Balsall Heath. More up to date, I know Greggs used to sell them - might be worth a try. Good luck.

Reading these posts on Pineapple creams, I can remember the taste of them. Wonderful! I haven't had one in about 50years. Mom used to buy me one every week from the Erdington High Street. A special treat.

Same here Lynda regarding not having had a pineapple cream for years and years. I used to stop on the way to work some days at Baines Bakery
on Stockland Green and buy one to eat at Tea Break. Lovely.
 
Will try and remember to check in Greggs next time I go in, after all, they used to be Braggs, which was a Brummy baker I think. Firkins have recently closed here by me.

Tripe and onions cooked in milk at my Aunts in Manchester. Tried a few years ago and thought did i eat this all those years ago, spoilt now i suppose.
