Hello everyone. I’m wondering if anyone has family photographs taken at Studio Louis, 104 Alum Rock Road.
If you do, I’d love to see them as a member of my family ran the studio from sometime between the 1920s and late 1930s.

Hello Nettie, my Aunty Laura Emms was married in 1938 and had a group family photo taken there. I might be able to send you the picture. Its not mine, so will just have to get permission (shouldn't be an issue). Do you have any pictures of the shop front? I am doing my family history and it would go nicely with the "story". PS Laura lived at 328 Alum Rock Road.

All the best Rob Emms

Hi Nettie
Found this request from you but may not now be valid as years have passed (2021). My wife’s mother Lilian Mills who lived at 316 Alum Rock rd was a Sunday School teacher at St Margaret’s Church Ward End. We believe this photo is of an unknown drama production there. Lilian is the 4th from the left. Just tried to upload file, says too large! Sorry
