Photo and Info request

I am looking for any information and a photo if possible of a shop that was on the corner of Crompton Rd and Long Acre in the Late 50's, early 60's. I seem to remember that it was a fruit and veg shop and it could have been called "Newtons" but I may be wrong and I think it was owned by a gent called Bert. The site its now occupied by Nutters Fastners.
Any info will be extremely helpful.

In the 1962 Kellys there is a shop no 260, between Crompton road and elliot St (but am not clear if it was on the corner, as no other places are listed between the two) which is listed as B. Newton, shopkeeper

Please note that the picture needs to be rotated 180 degrees. The 6 houses between the shop and elliot street are still there today.

Chocks there is no need to turn the photo of Newtons shop it was on the corner of Long acre and Eliot street, the photograph was taken from the Verity's factory on the top floor looking to Cuckoo road and bridge, here is a pic taken in 1988 looking in the opposite direction

I appologise Pudding, You're absolutely right. I thought the shop was on the corner of Crompton Rd but now tou've pointed out that it was on the corner of Elliot St it makes total sense.
