has anyone who is researching perry families come across a mary perry born abt 1870/1 in old hill.the only other info i have is the family lived in cradley heath area.mary married in warrington in1897 to george owen:stressed:

There is a christening of Mary Perry 5 June 1870 at Reddall Hill, which is Cradley Heath. Father William mother Elizabeth.

thanks for the replies the mary perry iam reseachng is the correct one on the 1901 census but that is all the info i have at present. not knowing the area she was born i wasnt sure if the one with william as her father could be the right one when i checked other years so thanks for that hint.

finally managed to get a marriage cert which gives fathers name as william which matches previous replies from di.poppitt.however i have found another william and elizabeth with a daughter mary the same age.the census returns for 1871 and 1881 give this family as born in tipton.I have no knowledge of this area and as my mary perry was born in old hill on the 1901 census which of the 2 families is more likely to be the right one?any help appreciated.
