good evening can any one tell me the cemetery on walsall road perry bar.
or is there one very near there.
I need to know this asap so any help will be helpful.

thankyou Andy.

The nearest is Witton followed by Handsworth. There is a Crem. in Walsall Road. Perry Barr.

Andy there is one just off the Walsall road Kingstanding road and I think the church is St.Johns. There is a pub almost opposite called The Church Tavern. All the best. Jean.

Andy,
And more possible leads on your question - St John's Church, in Church Road (I was a choirboy there in WW2) had a cemetery, but also I seem to remember the Crematorium a little away from Perry Barr on the same side of the road also had a 'Garden of Remembrance' (where I think ashes were buried). There was also a church a mile or more further north at the junction with the Old Walsall Road, which I think also had a cemetery, but I can't say for certain.
Happy New Year, anyway.

It is almost certain that the one you are after is the large Crematorium on the A34 Walsall Road. They do not do burials. It is on the right hand side of Walsall Road going out of the city and opposite Rocky Lane and the Police Station. If you carry on out of the city you will come to Junction 7 of the M6 Motorway (about 1 to 1.1/2 miles). Hope this is of some help to you.

Junie
