Perks Elizabeth (Crow) then (Birch) born about 1876 ish

:headhit:I believe Elizabeth married John Crow in Jun - Sept quarter 1901. He died aged 23 in Jun-Sept 1904. There is a John Sidney Crow who dies about the same time ? their child. Elizabeth Crow then marries John William Birch in June-Sept 1905. He is listed as being 28 on the 1911 census and Elizaqbeth 34. There are also various chidren listed on the 1911 census; Nellie 7, Jack 6, Florrie 4, William 3, and George 2. Ada Ivy(my husband's grandmother) is born 11.11.1914. I am trying to find out if John William Birch married anyone else and had some of the children (the earlier ones especially Nellie and Jack) by someone else.
I am also trying to find out if it was Elizabeth Mercy Perks or Elizabeth Jane Perks that these men married. The first Elizabeth was born in 1876 and the 2nd in 1878. I am drawing a brick wall on this one.:headhit:

If you purchase the marriage certificate you should get the full name and marital status (e.g. widow, widower) of each party.

Hi Judith
I don't know if this helps, but up until 1927 there is a John William and Elizabeth Birch at 1 back 53 Erskine Street.
1930 at the same address, John William,William John,George Edward and Florence Birch.
1935 just John William Birch.
1939 John William Birch and Eliza Sarah Birch.
Marriages Jun 1937
John W Birch Birmingham 6d 1031
Eliza S Gough Birmingham 6d 1031

The only birth of an Ada Ivy Birch that I can see, was registered in Droitwich 1915 and the mother was Isabella Condor Hedley who married a Thomas William Birch in 1904.
In 1911 they had 3 children, Thomas William, Gerald Franklyn and Dorothy and they lived in Manor Road Stourport?

That is so helpful Ladylinda, I was told Elizabeth died young. I will need to get the different marriage certificates now. I will also now need to find out what happened to Jack (John) who was born in ?1905 and Nellie born 1904. Ada Ivy's birth was I think not registered until later She married Thomas Henry Silk on 29.10.1932. As a matter of interest where did you get the information from about who was living in Erskine Street?? Many thanks, Judith
