Peel street ( peel gardens) Winson Green

Hello everyone,
Does anyone have or know where there any photos of peel gardens peel st Winson Green
or recalls any of the familes that lived there in the 1960s to 1970s
There were a group of 7 houses with with shared outside toilets and brew houses later each house had toilet built in garden,
the gardens where very long and at front of the houses .
i recall some of the famlies that lived there but would be great to to see if any photos are around.

i know the houses very welll and it inhabbitants of the street you will probaly know half the street your self if i mention names
its next to the peel pub ; the long gardend in the street there was only one lot ; with the big long gardens up there ;

Do you recall the market traders whom lived in those houses ; they was related to my ex wife from erdinton;
and a girl jennette lived in one of them as well there was alot of pubs around the green all within walking distances ;
i went out with a girl whom lived opersie those gardend by the lamp post her name was an ; and my old school friends and long life friends today
also lived opersite they was the hicks family whom cme from ladywood ; to peel street

I think you mean the smiths who used to live next door to us , as each time we went into the house there was always boxes of goods ready for sale. I recall the Hicks family one of them was Gerry/Gerald in fact i recall them moving into peel st opposite us as they turned up in a flat bed lorry .My family moved to Erdington in 1970 i now live in Devon
 
Topsyurvey , Many thanks for all those photos link brought back some wonderful memories my grandchildren enjoyed looking at the photos and founfd it hard to believe we had no bathroom or inside toilet .
 
Hello. I had some friends who lived in Peel Street Winson Green But it was in 1957 --58.

Their names were Philip And Margarite Peters. They had a son named Robert.

Have not seen or heard of them for a long, long time.

Philip was the uncle of Peter Lee Stirling { Daniel Boone }

Presume this has no connection to the " post " but it is nice being back. Betty Hopper
