Any one with information about Henry and Elizabeth Parkes, I would be appreciate any info you can pass on, especially names of their parents, siblings, etc.
Henry was born in Birmingham in 1828 and Elizabeth Prescott Parkes in Devon on 4 Jun 1830. Elizabeth died 29 Oct 1881.
They were married 11 Nov 1848.

Looking at the ages, it is possible that both parents had previous marriages and might explain why i found, on IGI, christening's with parents Henry and Mary in Honiton prior to 1829.

Forgot to mention, the 1841 Census gives no relationship in a household and a simple Y or N for Born in County, very limited info

Again on the IGI, spelling slightly different but this is not unusual, names did get altered slightly through time --

Thanks everyone for all the info about Henry and Elizabeth Parkes!
I looked again on IGI and found:
Henry born 1828 married Elizabeth Prescott born 1830
Elizabeth's parents seem to have been Henry Prescott and Elizabeth (Basleigh?) married 27 Aug 1829 at Honiton, Devon.

I have also found all the above and in looking again found a marriage for Henry Prescott + Mary Woodrow, 31 Jan 1815, Honiton, Devon. Possible children: John, chr. 26 Jul 1815, death: 21 Dec 1815,
Robert, chr, 3 Sep 1817 and
Henry, chr, 25 Oct 1820
Looks as though Mary Woodrow died between 1820-1829?

Henry Prescott married Eliz Basley in 1829, dau. Elizabeth born 1830.

Also found a marriage for E. Basleigh + William Woodward on 12 Apr 1821.
No record of children

Is this the same Eliz. Basley??

Henry seems to have been married again after Eliz. wife #2, died.
married #3 wife- Martha Clark in 1846
