Parish Church Sutton Coldfield ???

skylark

Proud to be a Brummie !!
I wonder if anyone can confirm for me the parish church in Sutton Coldfield please? I assume it will be CoE. I have found an 1831 marriage on the IGI but it does not give the name of the church...would the church records be in B'ham library ????

Many thanks,
Margaret.

This would probably be Holy Trinity at the top of the Parade. I believe the records are held at Sutton Library. This is the church where Mary Ashford is buried from the famous murder case near the Tyburn House. The grave stones have been moved they are all round the edge of the churchyard. My friend found her relative there.

Margaret, have a look at the thread on SUTTON COLDFIELD & you may see HOLLY TRINITY CHURCH the main Town C of E Church.
Hope you find what you are looking for.
