Just thought I would let you all know, I have now received the "out-of-print" copy of Muckydonia by William D Mather. He was a Pte in the 8th Battalion of the Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry.
They were the Pioneer Bn of the 26th Division, and his diary is at times funny, but they had a hell of a time due to the weather and the mosquitoes. My Grandad was in this Bn from 1915 until they came home after the armistice.
