Owen W Thompson & Family

Anybody out there related to Owen W Thompson, whose family lived at 18 Hermitage Road, Edgbaston, from 1901 until at least 1950 and possibly later? Tracing a member of this family could be the only way I have of finding information about my grandmother, who we believe was a housekeeper or other form of domestic help at the house in the 1940s. Any leads gratefully received.

Residents according to the electoral roll for 18 Hermitage Road, Edgbaston:
In 1930, Owen Walter Thompson, Emily Catherine Thompson, Amy Brassington and Phyliss Madeline Ashmore.
In 1935, Owen Walter Thompson, Emily Catherine Thompson, Emily Morris and Blanche May Eastoe.
In 1939, Owen Walter Thompson, Emily Catherine Thompson, Kathleen Purcell and Agnes Pyke.

Thanks very much for the replies. My ancestor is Rose Horton, and according to electoral records she was only listed in the house 1948 and 1949, and not any other years. She was married (probably widowed in the war) and we have no details of a maiden name. We have no further information, having placed newspaper ads in Birmingham and made all reasonable checks through online BMD resources. We even visited the area and spoke to a number of locals. So our only real hope is that an ancestor of the Thompson family might know what happened to her.

have you looked at the deaths

Thanks for your help. Will certainly have a look at these - it's just difficult to know which one is her without anything else to go on, so any help is very gratefully received.
