I am trying to trace a Frederick Orton or rather his decendants but don't have much to go on.

I believe he was born around 1905, not sure where, but was brought up
on Oldknow Road, Small Heath.

Not much to go on i know...
 
There is a marriage of Frederick S Orton to Gladys W Lakin 1929 B'ham

I have only found one child so far Allan J Orton born 1938

Gladys Winifred Orton(Lakin) died birmingham 1988 she was born in 1905.

Do any of these names ring a bell?
 
Hi Alberta,

Thanks for the information, as i understand it his wife and child died,
not sure when, and he left the area altogether.

I believe this was sometime around 1938/9.

I still need to make the connection with Oldknow Road though.
