Oldfields.

My Gran and Grandad on my Mom's side, were James and Emily Oldfield. They once lived in Gt Russell St, where James died, then they moved to Victoria Rd, Erdington, then after that to Berners St, Lozells.

The children were Emily Alice, Eunice, Frank, Gerald, Alan, and James (Jimmy) My Mom and me lived with Grannnie Oldfield for part of the war, until Mom found us a house in Hunters Rd, Hockley.

Would love to contact other members of the extended family.

Barrie, perhaps you could go onto the British Telecom page for Residential numbers and
put in Oldfield and Birmingham. There are about l0 or 12 of them listed. There might be some connection there.
