Old Birmingham Pub Signs

Hi all I have came across this old pub sign that was for sale on Ebay some time ago and I am just wondering if it was the sign that was outside the Rocket pub in Nechells? as it was forty plus years ago the last time I had seen the old sign.

Maybe some of you members can post a photo of the old pub signs of your local that still is trading or was in Birmingham.

I know member elbrown has one of the old Fox and Grapes.

Hi Pudding

The only photos I have of this pub are ones when it was renamed The Winning Post. I only ever used the pub a couple of times and that was after I had left the district. Though I do remember it when they demolished The Train and replaced it with The Rocket it did have a sign that was very much like that one, although I seem to remember it being painted with brighter colours, but it could very much be the one. Where did the people live that were selling it?

Thank you for your reply. As for the whereabouts of the seller, they were based in Leeds.
The sign was sold for £40 last July.
