If you head towards the City from Edgbaston cricket ground where the road splits around the church you pass it as you head towards the Hagley Road.

Thanks Bernard. That helped, it's on the corner of Frederick Road and St. James's Road. Now had a look on Streetview, can't get a full view as the building is surrounded by shrubs and trees. Looking at the exterior of St. James's House I wondered why it's gained listed status but a couple of detailed shots show some interesting features
