Hello,

I have found someone who may be related to me, as yet his records have not appeared on Ancestry so I am in limbo at the moment....

WALTER REDDING PTE 49422
North Staffordshire Regiment 3rd Battalion

died: 30/10/1917 aged 36
Husband of Nancy Redding, 5 Jesson St, West Bromwich. Born at Stratford on Avon.

Commonwealth War Dead
Cemetary: All Saints West Bromwich.
.....................................................

So not a great deal of info there....obviously he died in W/Bromwich.
Is there any way I can get more info on this chap ????

Many thanks,
Margaret.

I have now obtained the death cert for Walter Redding....he actually died in hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne of pneumonia aged 37...he was with his regiment awaiting to transfer to France.....perhaps now I will take the time to visit his grave in West Bromwich....
Margaret.
