No roof on the former B.C.T. tram and bus garage Highgate road

horsencart

master brummie
I note with some sadness that the former B.C.T. tram and bus garage Highgate road has no roof I have come to two conclusions to this

One is that the owner will very soon put a new roof on this historic building and so save it for future generations,

Two is the reason that they have taken the roof off is to save on the owner paying rates (you pay less in rates if your building has no roof) the sad thing is that the tram lines are still visible in the building from the pavement, what the future is for this former tram and bus garage I do not know as it is open to the elements it can only be detrimental to the building and may result some time in the future demolition of the building,

I will leave you to draw your own conclusion

hope i am wrong on this one horsencart but i would suspect the later of your conclusions would be a good bet..
