Nightingale Family - West Bromwich

Hi, I have just joined the forum so this is my first post.
I am Alan Nightingale and I live in Wishaw, Scotland and this is the main reason I have joined the forum. I am hoping to pick a few brains to get me on the right road, so that hopefully I can manage a visit down to do some research of my own.
I have just started out on tracing the family line but what I have so far is that my Great Grandfather, Joseph Nightingale was born around 1875 to William and Ann (Longmuir I think). I believe William was born in March 1843 in Tipton and had a brother Richard . According to the census of 1881 they lived at 11 All Saints Street, William was a Coal Miner, and Joseph had brothers William, James, Thomas and John as well as sisters Hannah, Harriet and Ann.
Joseph married Harriet Alice Wassell (born 14/11/1876 in Motherwell to David and Sarah Ann they were married 11/02/1861 somewhere in England I can't decifer the handwritting) at All Saints in West Bromwich on 20/02/1898. I'm not sure when he came up to Scotland, but it was to work in the Steelworks.
If anyone on the forum has links to any of these names, I would be pleased to hear from them.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Alan
