Well, there were some names from the past in those photos.
The exhibition photo mentions De Dion, Clements, Stars and more well known Siddeleys, the garage frontage windows mention Clincher Tyres, Star, De Dion, Napier and local guy Wolseley.
I guess driving was taught to ladies and the more timid. I wonder how many men, of the time, thought they needed to be taught? Few I believe.
